Getting Started

Congratulations, you're in!
Now here's a step-by-step guided to getting started.

1. The first step after enrolling is to set up your your virtual dorm room (your vDorm). For this you will should to go to http://my.yahoo.com (or a service like Yahoo) and follow the instructions to set up your email address and your vDorm (the my.yahoo.com front page). This will make it accessible from anywhere in the world.
2. Next, you need to set up your website. Your website is contected to your vDorm, but is seen by everyone. A geocities website (from yahoo - http://www.geocities.com) is recommended. However, any free website is ok. On you website you will showcase your work (semester by semester). It will be reviewed by your peers and the dean. The development of your site will play a major part in whether you pass or fail a semester. Further, if you wish, you can use your website to set-up a vHouse. (see vHouse on the left)
3. Once this is done post an announcement in the; Website Announcements area.
